Course Structure

The design of the course is created by the Department of Real Estate (DRE) and requires students to
demonstrate mastery of the subjects being covered. Students are required to take and complete each
chapter before progressing to the next chapter. Progressing to the next chapter means:

  • You must pass the mandatory online quizzes.
  •  You must pass each online chapter quiz in a linear fashion before moving onto the next.
  •  You cannot access the course final examination and complete the course until all chapter
quizzes have been completed and a minimum time* (18 days) has elapsed. Once all the
qualifications have been met, students will gain access to the course final examination.

Time-To-Complete

The DRE allows each course to be completed in MINIMIMUM time of 18 days from the date you receive
course material. Students have a maximum time of 1 year from the date of enrollment to complete
course.

The 18-day rule dictates how quickly you can take the final exam and complete each course. For
example, the quickest manner one can complete 3 courses is 54 days from the date you enroll in an
online program or from the date you received physical textbooks. If you have further questions, please
call the school for clarification.

Extension Policy

In the event you do not complete the course within 1 year of enrollment (for any reason, no exceptions),
you may extend your enrollment for an additional 6 month’s for $100.00. If you extend for 6 months,
the time period begins upon expiration of the original course.

Final Exam and Passing the Course

In order to pass a course, you will be required to take and pass (70% or better) an online final exam
consisting of 100 multiple choice questions with a 2 and ½ hour time limit. Students can use open book
for the final exam.

What If You Fail the Exam?

If you fail the course final examination, you will have the opportunity to retake the exam. If you fail the exam a second time, you will have to wait 18 days to retake the exam.

Course Completion

Completion of the course requires students to take and pass the course final examination. The final
must be taken prior to expiration of the student’s enrollment.

Course Completion Certificate

Course Certificates will be issued within 3 business days of a student’s successful completion of the
course. Student’s will be emailed the Course Certificate.

Electronics Books Policy

including ebooks and quizzes.

By entering your driver’s license number, you are affirming that you are the student registered for the course and that you will personally complete the final examination.
